I focus on how internet infrastructure is increasingly interacting - and sometimes colliding - with geopolitical boundaries. As a policy analyst, I collaborate with leadership to prepare presentations, writing, and other materials for global conferences focused on issues pertaining to internet governance, cybersecurity, and data flows. These experiences not only familiarized me with the legislative process, but also granted me strong skills in project management, advocacy, issue management, and strategic communications. These included trips around the world, such as this one to Malawi celebrating the launch of the Global Health Service Partnership program, a collaboration of the Peace Corps, the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and the non-profit Seed Global Health. Nicaragua: For 27 months, I worked and lived in Nicaragua, leading education projects in coordination with the Nicaraguan education ministry.
