<image:caption>Advances in technology are transforming nearly every aspect of our lives from how we communicate to how we stay informed and transact business. While it has undoubtedly delivered tremendous benefits to societies globally, it has also brought unforeseen challenges. As communities around the world leap ahead to pursue tech advancements, my work exams the ways in which we can leverage what is best about technology.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Tech Policy - Oracle’s Internet Intelligence Map</image:title>
<image:caption>Since June 2018, I have consulted for Oracle’s Internet Intelligence team as a policy analyst, helping develop and manage a site dedicated to reporting on issues related to the internet and providing clients with a window into internet performance worldwide. I focus on how internet infrastructure is increasingly interacting - and sometimes colliding - with geopolitical boundaries. As a policy analyst, I collaborate with leadership to prepare presentations, writing, and other materials for global conferences focused on issues pertaining to internet governance, cybersecurity, and data flows. Check out my most recent blog post here.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Tech Policy - Human-Centered AI</image:title>
<image:caption>In 2019, I began contributing to the Cambrian Group, a global network of seasoned technology, strategy, and economic experts who help companies envision future risks and opportunities as they relate to Deep Tech. The group aims to ensure human-centered AI across business and society by helping companies, governments, and civic organizations design guidelines, governance mechanisms, and product specifications for ethical applications of cognitive technologies. <image:title>Public Affairs - Public Affairs Consulting</image:title>
<image:caption>Public Speaking: I have spoken to various groups on behalf of trade associations, companies, and other clients. I am comfortable speaking and presenting in front of groups, large and small. Stakeholder Engagement: I have provided stakeholder mapping and strategic counsel for a Fortune 20 company preparing for a major product roll-out nationwide. My analysis provided strategies for engagement and for mitigating concerns about large corporate investments. Writing: I have helped organize and prepare background materials for numerous community and economic development forums. I have also written hundreds of op-eds, media statements, and policy briefs. Here is an example of an editorial I wrote about ride-sharing apps.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Public Affairs - Public Affairs</image:title>
<image:caption>For over five years, I worked in Washington, D.C., first as an aide in the U.S. Senate and later in the Obama administration at Peace Corps Headquarters. These experiences not only familiarized me with the legislative process, but also granted me strong skills in project management, advocacy, issue management, and strategic communications. I have since used these as a consultant for several private companies, supporting projects at the federal, state, and municipal levels.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Public Affairs - U.S. Peace Corps</image:title>
<image:caption>Office of the Director: As an appointee in the Obama administration, I planned over 15 trips for the director to promote the U.S. Peace Corps. These included trips around the world, such as this one to Malawi celebrating the launch of the Global Health Service Partnership program, a collaboration of the Peace Corps, the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and the non-profit Seed Global Health. Nicaragua: For 27 months, I worked and lived in Nicaragua, leading education projects in coordination with the Nicaraguan education ministry. In two years, I organized three camps with funding from USAID and U.S. Department of State, two regional conferences for public school teachers, and gave dozens of workshops and trainings to educators across the country.</image:caption>
